Zoom has become a staple in daily life for most Americans, and with it comes many changes to both life and work. Many people have adjusted to being on a web camera, but still haven't perfected being on Zoom. The cultivation of a space that is presentable and livable has become necessary for many people taking Zoom calls. The background of a call reflects the speaker themselves, so creating something that is both clean and interesting can be a challenge. 

For this project I wanted to create a cozy space where someone could live and work. I took the dimensions of my room and rearranged It was important to me that there was a balance between having enough storage area and having enough space to move. The background for the Zoom call features a large bookshelf, a clean wall and a plant for decoration and color. The bookshelf can be used for display purposes as well as giving a sense of education. The bed is out of frame and the window would provide a good amount of natural lighting for the Zoom call. The closet is also out of frame and has sliding doors which will save on space
